Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company (Light Aircraft Association Limited)

All registered companies must have a Memorandum and Articles of Association.


The Memorandum of Association is a document recording the existence and objects of the Company. The Articles of Association govern the internal functioning of the Company and set out the procedures that must be followed in order to implement the decisions taken by the beneficial shareholders and the board. 


Both documents were reviewed and approved by the membership of the Association in general meeting prior to its restructuring into a limited company. Following that restructuring only members who elect to take up their entitlement to a beneficial share in the Company can vote on company matters. All members are encouraged to exercise this right which can done by completing the form here and returning it to Head Office.

Rules of the Association

The Rules of the Association cover the day to day activities of the Association rather than the fundamental constitution of the Company as set out in the Articles and Memorandum.
